Yeah! ...Kind of like getting into the Officer's Academy, now that I think about it. Gotta have some kind of connection to get noticed, and all that.

Okay, she wants to know who you are, how you know me, and what I'm good at besides brawling. I already told her a couple stories about my tournament wins but she didn't seem too impressed. Imagine that!

Okay, I can answer those questions, but it might be good to tell her your skills that's pertaining to the job specifically. What did you apply for?

Oh, right, yeah! It's called Moonstone Spa. It's run by this lady quartz named Belinda, I should've mentioned that. She's the one you should address it to.

She's looking for somebody to give people rubdowns and stuff after they're done in the sauna. Funny thing about it is, I didn't even come in here knowing that's what she wanted; she just thinks I'd be good at it.

What's the difference between food and special food? And why are you paying Yuri?

Oh, that's easy. Food is the stuff I eat on the regular. You know, like bread and beer and dinners and all that. Special food is like the lemonade I bought the other day 'cause it was hot out and I'd been walking around a lot. I didn't need it, so it was special.

The Yuri money is different than either of those, since that's for when he cooks and I go over to eat. Can't show up empty-handed, so I'll go to some bakery he likes and get something to take with me. That's the Yuri funds.

Oh wow. You really thought this out! Good job, Balthus. I'm really impressed. So you have your budget, and you're getting a job. That on top of Synchrony on the regular, and you'll be doing okay in no time!

Just don't be tempted to go outside of your budget, okay?
