I probably don't tell you enough, but I'm glad we've been able to spend time together here. Sometimes I think back to the kids we were before Garreg Mach and I miss those little guys - but it's been a privilege to get to know the man you've become.

A personal one, I'm afraid, and a rather embarrassing one at that.

My birthday is in a few days, and in the interest of treating it with...some significance, for a change, I thought a good way of going about it would be to simply procure a cake.

I have a question to ask about the cake's composition. It's largely meaningless but still, I'd like to know.

Is it possible to make a cake that is both safe for a dog's consumption and appealing to a human's palate?

Oh. That's a really good question! Well, chocolate's right out, but maybe if we did a carrot cake that could work? Or maybe pumpkin-based. Those two things can add flavor while also being naturally sweet.

I understand if it's not feasible in the slightest. Hence why I merely...wondered.

Strictly speaking, it doesn't exist this year. I was born on the 29th of this month.

Historically I've just called it one day or the other, the 28th or the 1st.
