How have things been lately, besides the heat? You hanging in there all right?

Not really. Most of us from Faerghus already struggle with the heat, but it seems like I'm dealing with it even worse than usual.

Truthfully, I haven't really noticed it that much! Guess it comes with being a Ruby, though. We're usually pretty good with heat.

Oh, and the part about not wearing a shirt probably helps a lot, too.

Oh. Maybe that's why it's really bad. Even my plants are kind of wilting under this heat, so I probably am too as an emerald.

Going shirtless probably doesn't hurt haha.

I should've gotten a pool or something with this new place.

Eh, I could give or take it. When I'm all scaly I REALLY don't like it, though; there's something about being a Ruby that hates getting wet, and being surrounded by water is even worse. Those kinds of creatures aren't made for the water.

But overall I don't really mind it. Had a guy hold my head under once, I wasn't too fond of that. But like I said, give or take.

I guess either way it doesn't entirely matter. I can see why you'd need to be in the mood for water, though.

If I was really being fancy, I'd go to some kind of exclusive beach with a house to rent or something like that. Rich people do that, right?

[Connor arrives at the promised time (on the minute, actually) and knocks on Ashe's door expectantly. He's excited to see some animals, but it's also a great chance to get to know the other man better.]

[In retrospect, he should have figured that Connor would be so precise on his timing. Still, he's happy to have a chance to better understand the android! So, he opens the door and offers a big smile.

And a big fat cat in his arms.]

Hi, Connor! Come on in. Sir Loog is happy to see you too.

[Connor smiles to see Ashe, and even more to see the cat. He immediately reaches out to pet it, looking fascinated.]

I've never pet a cat before... how soft.

[He straightens up, and follows Ashe into the house.]

I hope my roommate doesn't have allergies.
